Update the priority of an incident

If the priority of an incident should be changed, you can manually update it to reflect its new criticality.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder

Procedure

  1. Log in to Lightstep Incident Response.
  2. On the left navigation pane, select Incidents.
  3. Open the incident.
  4. In the Incident Details panel, select a Priority from the list menu.
    • P1-Critical
    • P2-High
    • P3-Moderate
    • P4-Low
    • P5-Informational
  5. Select Save.
    The new priority is reflected in the incident and the incident list view.
