Update the priority of an Incident Response alert

If the priority of an alert should be changed, you can manually update it to reflect its new criticality.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

Procedure

  1. Log in to Incident Response.
  2. On the left navigation pane, click Alerts.
  3. Open the alert.
  4. In the Alert content area, choose a Priority from the list menu.
    • P1-Critical
    • P2-High
    • P3-Moderate
    • P4-Low
    • P5-Informational
  5. Click Save.
    The new priority is reflected in the alert and the alert list view.
