Send an alert to trigger escalation policy for a service.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

Procedure

  1. Log in to Lightstep Incident Response.
  2. On the navigation pane, select Services.
    The Services landing page.
  3. Click the name of the service you want to edit.
    The View service page appears.
    The View service page appears.
  4. Click Create alert.
    The Create alert form appears.

  5. On the form, fill in the fields.
    Field Description
    Description Brief description of the alert.
    Priority Priority of the alert.
  6. Click Submit.
