Reopen an Incident Response alert

Reopen a closed alert if you think the issue is not yet resolved.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

Procedure

  1. Log in to Incident Response.
  2. On the left navigation pane, click Alerts.
  3. Open the closed alert. If you don't see it, check your filter settings and add Closed.
  4. Click Reopen.
    Note: If you have more than one alert to reopen, use the back arrow button in your browser to return to the list view. Using the back arrow button retains the Closed filter for the list view.

    If you click Alerts in the left navigation, it defaults to all Open alerts.

    Reopened alerts appear in the Alerts list view in the Open state.
