Log in to your Incident Response mobile app

Log in to your mobile and use the various features and functions of  Incident Response.

Before you begin

Role required: Stakeholder, Responder, Manager, or Administrator


  1. Download the Lightstep Incident Response mobile app for Apple iOS in the App Store or Google Android in the Google Google Play.

    You can also scan the respective QR codes.

    Note: If you're unable to download the Lightstep Incident Response mobile app for iOS or Android, the security policies of your organization may be blocking the installation of the app. Check with your Incident Response administrator.
  2. Tap the Lightstep Incident Response mobile app icon (Lightstep Incident Response mobile app) on your device.
    You are directed to the sign in page.

  3. Enter your email address and click Submit.
  4. Perform any one of the following actions:
    Options Actions
    If SSO is enabled
    1. Enter your organizational SSO details.
    2. Click Submit.
    If SSO is not enabled
    If you login with your instance credentials:
    1. In the Password field, enter your password.
      The Lightstep Incident Response login screen.
    2. Click Log in.
    If you login with Google:
    1. Click Log in with Google.

      The first time you log in, you are asked to choose an account. Subsequent logins take you straight to your homepage.

    2. Enter your Google password and click Next.

      You are logged into your account and your homepage opens.

    If multi-factor authentication is enabled
    1. Enter your 6-digit verification code.

    2. (Optional) Select the Do not challenge MFA on this browser for the next 8 hours check box.
    3. Click Log in.
    You are directed to the Incident Response mobile Home page.
