Add an incident to an alert if you think there is an existing incident that is
created for the same issue. You can also update the incident number in the alert as
required, or remove an incident from an alert when you do not want to alert to be associated
with any incident.
Before you begin
Ensure that the alert is open, acknowledged, not a child alert, and that no incident
is associated with the alert.
Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator
Procedure
Access your instance using the Lightstep Incident Response mobile
app.
On the tab bar, tap the alerts icon .
Alerts appear as a list under the following tabs:

My open
List of all open alerts assigned to you or for which you
are a part of the responder list.
Unacknowledged
List of all the unacknowledged alerts in your
organization.
All alerts
List of all the alerts in the organization.
Note: To view the details of an alert, tap the alert
record.
Tap to open the alert in the detailed view.
Tap the action icon ().
From the action sheet, select Update incident.
The page appears from where you can add, update, or remove an incident.
