Dynatrace integration with Incident Response
Dynatrace monitors virtual machines from various clouds and physical servers. It gives total visibility into all dimensions of applications — from end-user to application deep dive, to the network. You can integrate Dynatrace with Incident Response for intelligent monitoring of services running in other third party applications.
What does Incident Response offer Dynatrace users?
Use Dynatrace integration to send alerts to Incident Response with detailed information.
Incident Response acts as a handler for these alerts and determines the right people to notify based on escalation policies, previously provided points of contact, and on-call schedules. Users are notified based on their notification preferences. Alerts are escalated until they are acknowledged or closed.
Functionality of the integration
- Whenever there is a violation in any alert conditions, an alert is created on the Dynatrace portal and the same is sent to the Incident Response using the webhook url defined in the notification channel.
- When an alert is closed in Dynatrace, the related alert is automatically closed in Incident Response through the integration.
