Configure the webhook in Honeybadger

Configure webhook endpoints so that Honeybadger can use the endpoint to communicate with Incident Response.

About this task

  1. Log in to your Honeybadger application console and select your project.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Alerts & Integrations > Add a Project Integration > WebHook.
  3. In the Set up Webhook page, select the Enable WebHook check box.
  4. In the URL field, enter the URL copied from LIR.
  5. Select the events for which you want alerts sent to LIR.

  6. Click Save changes.

  7. Optional: To test the connection, click Test this integration.
    This will vreate an alert in LIR.


When an event condition is triggered for your project, an alert is generated in LIR.

What to do next

Closing an Alert

Honeybadger does not provide automatic closing payload for Error monitoring. To close the Error monitoring alert, you must resolve/close the error manually.
  1. Log in to your Honeybadger application and navigate to the error monitoring alert.
  2. Drag the toggle switch from Unresolved to Resolved.

  3. Alert will be resolved or closed, and you get the closing payload.
