About this task

Note: While this integration with a third-party product is supported, the documentation here is based upon information provided by that third-party. More current information about the operation of that third-party’s system may be available from them directly.

  1. Log in to your Freshping application console.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  3. Select Webhook and click Create Integration.
    Webhook integration in Freshping.
  4. Fill in the Create Webhook Integration form:
    Field Description
Webhook Name Name for the webhook integration.
Trigger the webhook Webhook URL copied from Incident Response.
Requires Basic Authentication Deselect this check box.
    Create wehook integration.
  5. Enter the remaining fields depending on your requirements.
By default, all the placeholders are already populated in the Simple option. If not, select Advanced, click Insert placeholder, and choose from the list.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Optional: To test the connection with Incident Response, click Test.
    • If the connection is successfully established, then you get the message Webhook tested successfully, and an alert is created in Incident Response.
    • If the connection is not successful, you will still get the message Webhook tested successfully, but an alert will not be created in Incident Response.

Once the webhook is successfully set up, alerts in Freshping will create alerts in Incident Response.
