Configure the webhook in Errorception

Configure webhook endpoints so that Errorception can use the endpoint to communicate with Incident Response.

  1. Log in to Errorception.
  2. Select an existing project or create a new one.
  3. Navigate to Settings > Service Hooks > WebHooks.
    Select WebHooks.
  4. In the WebHook URL field, paste the webhook copied from Incident Response.
    Add webhook URL.
  5. Select an occurrence condition.
  6. Select the Active check box.
  7. Click Save.


When alerts are triggered for the project, alerts will be created in Lightstep Incident Response.

Closing an Errorception alert

Errorception doesn't provide closing payload for an alert. To close an alert from Errorception, follow the steps given in Close an alert.
