Delete an escalation policy

Delete an escalation policy when it is no longer required.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

Note: Only the responder who created the team, the manager of the team, or an administrator can delete an escalation policy.


  1. Log in to Lightstep Incident Response.
  2. On the navigation pane, select On-call teams.
    The On-call teams landing page from where you can search for a team, sort teams, or create a new team.
  3. Click the team's card whose escalation policies you want to delete.
  4. Click the Escalation policies tab.
    Escalation policy is updated.
  5. On the escalation policy card, click the more actions icon (The More actions icon) and then select Delete.
    Delete option under the More actions menu.
  6. On the Delete escalation policy dialog box, click Delete.
    The escalation policy is deleted.
