Alert and incident analytics

Track the volume, performance, and progress of alerts and incidents in your account. From initial analysis and detection to resolution, reports filter by source, service, priority, assignment group, and assignee.

Reports show trending data over time. Reports with real-time data are listed below. View trends of important metrics on a regular schedule to analyze your overall business processes and identify areas of improvement.

To view the Alert and Incident analytics, navigate to Analytics in the left navigation pane.

Alert and incident reports

Note: Clicking into one of the analytics bar or line graph reports drills down into the underlying alert or incident records.
Title Type Description
Alerts created Single Score Single score The number of alerts created in the last 24 hours.
Note: Reopened alerts are not counted.
Alert — Time to acknowledge Single Score The mean time for someone to acknowledge the alert over the last 30 days.
Incidents created Single Score Single score The number of incidents created in the last 24 hours.
Note: Reopened incidents are not counted.
Incident — Time to resolve Single Score The mean time to close an incident over the last 30 days.
Source — Alerts per week Spine Trend line The number of alerts opened per week and grouped by Source, over the last 90 days.
Service — Alerts per week Spline chart Trend line The number of alerts, opened per week and grouped by Service over the last 90 days.
Service — Incidents per week Spine chart Trend line The number of Incidents, opened per week and grouped by Service over the last 90 days.
Alerts — Service and Priority Bar chart Bar chart The number of alerts, grouped by Service, and stacked by Priority over the last 30 days.
