Configure a legacy integration in Sentry

Configure webhook endpoints in Sentry using the legacy integration.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

  1. Log in to your Sentry application console.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  3. From the Integrations list, select WebHooks.

  4. Click Add to Project.
  5. Enter the webhook you copied from Incident Response in the Callback URLs field.

  6. Click Save Changes.
  7. Click Enable Plugin.
  8. To test the connectivity with Incident Response, click Test Plugin.
    This sends a test alert to Incident Response.

What to do next

To receive alerts from Sentry in Incident Response through the legacy integration, you must add WebHooks to your alert rule.

While creating issue alerts:
  1. Under Set conditions > perform these actions, select Send a notification via an integration.
  2. From the Send a notification via list, select WebHooks.Send notifications via WebHooks.
Note: You can only send Issue alerts to legacy integrations.
