Configure a webhook in Google Cloud Operations Suite

Configure webhook endpoints so that Google Cloud Operations Suite can use the endpoint to communicate with Incident Response.

Before you begin

Ensure you have created an account in Google Cloud Operations Suite.

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

  1. Log in to the Google Cloud Operations Suite console.
    The Google Cloud Platform homepage.
  2. On the navigation pane, under OPERATIONS, click Monitoring > Alerting.
    Select the alerting option.
    Select the edit notification channels option.
    The Notification channels page appears.

  4. Under the Webhooks section, click ADD NEW.
    The webhooks section.
  5. On the Add Webhook form, perform the following actions:
    Field Action to be taken
    Endpoint URL Enter the webhook URL that you have already created.

    Display name Enter a display name for the webhook endpoint.
  6. To verify if the connection with Incident Response, click TEST CONNECTION.
    You will receive a test alert in Incident Response.
  7. Click SAVE.
