Configure OAuth identity authentication

Configure OAuth identity authentication so that any user in your organization can automatically log in to Incident Response.

Before you begin

Log in to your authentication provider and retrieve your Client ID, Client secret and Well-known configuration URL from your Client ID Web application form.
Note: Use the following URIs for the authorized origins and authorized redirect fields on that form:
  • Origin:https://<your subdomain>.airapp.lightstep.com
  • Redirect: https://<your subdomain>.airapp.lightstep.com/navpage.do

Role required: Administrator

Procedure

  1. Log in to Incident Response.
  2. On the navigation pane, select Admin.
  3. On the Single Sign-on, OAuth Identity form, select Set up and manage OAuth identity.
    Note: Only one authentication feature can be enabled at a time.

  4. Fill in the fields.
    Field Description
    Name Authentication provider's name.
    Client ID The public identifier of the authentication application. This value is available from your authentication provider.
    Client Secret The confidential identifier of your authentication application. This value is available from your authentication provider.
    Well-known configuration URL The preassigned stable OpenID Connect address that your authentication provider uses.
  5. To enable OAuth authentication, select the Enable OAuth Authentication slider.
  6. Select Save.
    OAuth authentication is configured.
