Configure the webhook in Circonus
Configure webhook endpoints so that Circonus can use the endpoint to communicate with Incident Response.

- Log in to your Circonus application console.
In the navigation pane, under the Alerts section, click Contact
Click New to create a new contact group and fill in the fields.
Field Description Group Name Name for the contact group. Group Type Select Standard.
- Open the contact group.
Click Menu and select Add
- In the Add Member dialog box, in the Add a New Contact field, paste the webhook URL copied from Incident Response.

The contact type is displayed as the webhook URL with the method is selected as Web Hook.
- Click Add Members.
To test your contact group, click Send Message from the
Enter a message and click Ok. You will see a Success message in the contact group page and an alert is created in Incident Response with OK severity.
- Optional: You can also set reminders for alerts, for each alert severity (1 through 5), under the Reminders section and escalations to a different contact group, if the cause is not corrected or if the alert is not acknowledged under the Escalations section.
