Configure the webhook in Auvik

Configure webhook endpoints so that Auvik can use the endpoint to communicate with Incident Response.

  1. Log in to your Auvik application console.
  2. Navigate to ADMIN > Integrations.
    Integration for Auvik.
  3. Hover over ADD INTEGRATION and select Webhook from the list.
    Select Webhook integration.
  4. In the Webhook integration form, fill in the fields:
    Field Description
    Integration Name Name for the webhook integration.
    Webhook URL Webhook URL copied from Lightstep Incident Response.

    Add webhook integration.

    To test the connection with Incident Response, click TEST CONNECTION. This will not create an alert in Incident Response.

What to do next

Add the webhook Integration to the alerts that you want Lightstep Incident Response to handle.

  1. Navigate to Manage Alerts > Alerts.
  2. Add a new alert or edit an existing one.
  3. From the Select Notification Channels section select the Select From Existing Channels option and select the webhook that you configured.

    Select webhook as the notification channel.

  4. Click Save.
