Add work notes to an Incident Response alert

Add work notes to an alert that are visible to all members of the alert team.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

Procedure

  1. Log in to Incident Response.
  2. On the left navigation pane, click Alerts.
  3. Open the alert.
  4. You can enter Work notes at the top of the Compose content panel. Enter a work note in the text box and click Post Work notes.
    The work note is displayed in the Alert timeline stream content panel.
    Note:

    Work notes are visible to any responder, manager, or administrator.
