Add a service to an Incident Response alert

Add a service to an alert to increase the amount of data for the alert.

Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

Note: Adding or updating a service updates the assigned team on the alert.


  1. Log in to Lightstep Incident Response.
  2. On the left navigation pane, select Alerts.
  3. Open an alert.
  4. Select a service from the Service list menu.
  5. Select Save.

    When a Service is deleted, its integrations, alerts, incidents, and automation rules are removed. This is not a recoverable action so consider deactivating the service instead.
